A fun activity book bringing the Easter story to life. Based on God's Big Promises Bible Storybook.

Using vibrant illustrations and simple, faithful teaching from God's Big Promises Bible Storybook, this activity book features over 60 stickers and 16 pages of puzzles, games, and other activities.

It will help kids to interact with the Easter story and learn all about Palm Sunday, the Last Supper, Gethsemane, the cross, the empty tomb, and Jesus' resurrection appearances.

Perfect for kids aged 3-7.

This sticker and activity book supplements the God’s Big Promises Bible Storybook. However, someone doesn’t need to own the original Bible storybook to fully enjoy this activity book. Carl Laferton shares the story of Easter throughout this book, and each page includes a short paragraph along with some of Jennifer Davison’s colorful illustrations. Instead of including page numbers to direct people to the original Bible storybook, this works as a standalone, narrating the story for its own audience.

Each part of the story is two pages long, covering a different topic like “Jesus at the Temple” and “Jesus is Alive!” Each page spread includes places to stick stickers, as well as activities like mazes, word searches, words to trace, and a simple decoding activity. The publisher intends this for kids ages three to seven, and there’s a good range of different activities that are developmentally appropriate for that age group.

The stickers are all in the center of this staple-bound book, and they are bright and colorful. Kids can place the correct stickers over the soft, light backgrounds on different pages. The stickers are technically reusable, but they are a bit difficult to peel up, and start curling once you’ve pulled them off the page. Also, even though many of the stickers are circles or squares, kids may need help peeling up some of the asymmetrical ones to avoid ripping them.

God’s Big Promises Easter Sticker and Activity Book will be great for families and children’s ministry leaders who want to engage kids with the Easter story through a fun activity book. This book includes bright, appealing illustrations and engaging text, and the activities are fun. However, because crayons won’t how up on the glossy paper and ink is likely to smear, this will work best with a pencil or a dry erase marker. Overall, this is a great educational Christian resource, but it will most likely be a single-use activity book.
